Description

Five to ten electrical burns, with possible fatalities, occur on a daily basis in the USA. This training presents the latest changes in NFPA 70E and OSHA Regulations with regard to electrical safety. It is intended for all workers dealing with the operation, construction, and management of electrical systems. Defining electrical hazards, Dept. of Labor statistics, NFPA and OSHA Regulations and history, new laws and language, OSHA Final Rule and NFPA 70E highlights, methods of analyzing arc flash thermal energy, and technologies available to protect personnel and equipment will be discussed.
