What are the characteristics and habits of a safe employee and how does their buy-in affect your company’s safety culture?   Who are the company leaders in the safety arena and how does safety improve the profitability of your company? This session will detail how to access the status of a company safety program and the understanding and retention of your company’s safety training with employees. Significant updates that are necessary for contactors safety programs, including the latest OSHA activities that impact business, will be discussed. Attendees will receive hard copy and electronic copies of NECA’s Electrical Contractor Safety Program.

    Wesley Wheeler

    Wesley has over 33 years of electrical experience. Prior to joining NECA, he focused on safety as an OSHA instructor and safety director for a large industrial-based electrical contractor in Florida. Wesley has taught OSHA instructor classes for NJATC and has participated in Safety training at the annual NTI for the last 5 years. Wesley has served in many capacities in his career from electrician, foreman, superintendent, estimator, project manager to safety director.
