| Recent studies indicate that between five and ten arc flash explosions occur in electrical equipment every day in the United States. Electrical arc flash accidents are devastating to the affected workers and their families, and they can have very damaging financial consequences to the worker’s employer and its liability insurers. Although application of some of the product-based arc flash mitigation solutions result in increased costs for electrical equipment, arc flash mitigation may be a wise investment. This program will provide a better understanding of the arc mitigation standards and industry requirements and potential solutions and technologies available to deal with such requirements. |

Hardip has been working in Electrical distribution and Automation industry since past 11 years out of which he has spent about 10 years working for Schneider Electric in various engineering, sales management and business development roles. He has a Bachelors degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from LD College of Engineering Gujarat University in India and has Masters of Business Administration in General Management from University of Houston – Victoria.
