This program will examine ways participants can transfer ownership from the founders to children, key employees, or independent third parties and will discuss how to do so in ways to minimize taxes. |

James Weber
Jim began his career in public accounting with the international firm of Deloitte in 1975. He then started his own firm in 1980 providing assurance, tax and consulting services. Weber O’Brien Ltd. is an independent member of the BDO Seidman Alliance. Jim’s area of expertise is in strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and general business consulting. Jim serves on various boards including the BDO Construction Accounting Network Executive Committee (CAN). His knowledge of the subject matter, coupled with his “in-your-face” speaking style, sense of humor and everyday examples make talking about accounting, taxes and business strategy interesting and entertaining.
