| Mr. Matthews is a senior partner in national law firm Fox Rothschild LLP. He is a past Chair of the Firm’s Labor Employment Department and has served as an elected member of the Firm’s Executive Committee. For more than 30 years, he has devoted his practice to representing employers in all aspects of the employment relationship and has extensive trial and appellate litigation experience in the arbitral, administrative and judicial systems. He has deep experience in the construction industry and serves as labor counsel to National Electrical Contractors Association’s Penn-Del-Jersey Chapter and as management counsel to a number of its benefit funds. He has also consulted with the NEBF on withdrawal liability issues. Mr. Matthews writes and speaks frequently on labor employment issues and has presented to multiple regional meetings of National Electrical Contractors Association Chapter Managers. He is the author of Pennsylvania Labor Employment Law (2013), the first comprehensive treatise on federal and state employment issues affecting Pennsylvania employers and employees. |
